An intuitive pipetting system with six stations supports a range of accessories for automated sample prep like SPE, magnetic bead cleanup, dilutions and standards additions.

The Quadra5 liquid handling workstation can be configured for a number of tasks. Including automated SPE – both positive and negative pressure, accurate sample transfers, precise standards additions, sample dilutions, and magnetic bead cleanup. When changing methods, no recalibration is required with Tomtec’s fixed 24, 96, or 384 tip pipetting heads, making Quadra4 simpler to operate than systems five-times its price. The Quadra5’s software, with optional 21CFR11 toolkit, enables use in both non-regulated and regulated environments. Optional automated plate stackers provide true walk-away high-throughput plate prep.

Description

With over 40 years of experience in automated liquid handling, the Tomtec Quadra5 Liquid Handling Workstation sets the standard for a cost effective liquid handling workstation for life science applications. The workstation is engineered around a reliable fixed-head air displacement syringe design which services a six-station shuttle. The six stations can support a wide range of accessories for automating sample preparation like solid phase extraction (SPE), magnetic bead cleanup, as well as dilutions and standards additions. With an optional plate-stacker, the Quadra5 can be used to queue up to 50 assays. With an easy to learn, user friendly WIN 10 64 bit graphical interface, the Quadra4 delivers speed, flexibility, and precision.

Each Quadra5 Liquid Handling Workstation is manufactured in our Connecticut and New Jersey facilities. Tomtec engineers work with your research team to understand your analytical sample requirements, and then recommend the best possible solutions at the best possible price. When the Quadra4 Liquid Handling Workstation is delivered to your laboratory, Tomtec engineers install and test your system and familiarize your team on how to get the most value from your Tomtec investment. With both air displacement pipetting, in conjunction with an optional indexing microplate stage, the Quadra4 Liquid Handling Workstation enables the support of complex pipette workloads found on workstations that cost five-times its price. In addition, the optional automated plate stacker’s provide true walk-away assay automation.

The Quadra5 provides:
